A system for building tests and surveys that works on both computers and mobile phones. Respondents choose an answer question by question, and once the answers are submitted the system totals the score, works it out as a percentage and shows the result band straight away. Below that comes a question-by-question review that points out the correct option along with an explanation of the reasoning. The example already built is the Generative AI Quiz, which measures understanding of Generative AI and prompt writing.
Who it is for
Organisations that need to measure knowledge or gather opinion within a team, such as training departments, HR, and any unit that has to measure results before and after a course.
Works on a computer screen and on mobile alike
The question screen shows one question at a time, with multiple-choice options laid out in an easy-to-read row. The respondent selects an answer and moves straight on to the next question. That same screen scales down onto mobile without a separate system having to be built, so a link can be sent to course participants to complete on their own device right away.
- Multiple-choice questions with options A–D
- Set your own quiz name and topic description
- Runs in the browser, with no app to install
Results summarised the moment the answers are submitted
Once the set is complete, the system shows how many questions were answered correctly out of the total number of questions, works it out as a percentage score, and sums it up as a result band that can be understood in a single line, along with a retake button for anyone who wants to revise and try again.
- Questions answered correctly out of the total
- Percentage score
- A result band that immediately tells you what to do next
- A retake button
Answers explained question by question, not just marked wrong
The review section goes through one question at a time, highlights the correct option and then explains why that answer is right. In the Generative AI Quiz, for example, the explanation notes that a good prompt should have clear context, task and output format. Respondents therefore take some knowledge away from their own result, rather than only finding out their score.
A tool to use alongside training
The question set can be adapted to whatever content needs measuring. The example already built is the Generative AI Quiz, which measures understanding of Generative AI and prompt-writing technique, so it can be used to gauge a room's baseline before a course begins and then repeated afterwards to see which parts of the material still need reinforcing.
