Food diaries fail because they are tedious, so this system cuts the task down to taking a photograph: AI reads what the dish is, returns its energy and nutrient values, and flags what that particular user has to watch. What sets it apart from an ordinary calorie counter is that it puts the food diary beside blood test results and the meal delivery schedule. Photograph it instead of typing it

The food-logging screen offers three routes (take a photo, search the menu library, or enter it by hand), with the photo route being the one it is designed around. The system shows its progress while it analyses, then returns the dish it has identified with a confidence level attached to the result, so the user knows how far to trust it and can correct it before saving the entry to a meal.

Daily targets that tell you whether you are over or under

The home screen brings together everything the user needs to see each day: current weight against the previous week, the medical conditions that set their dietary rules, the next delivery round and the number of meals in it, and the day's nutrition bars measured against target. When accumulated energy goes over target, the system states the difference outright rather than leaving the user to work it out. Below that sits the list of meals already eaten, plus two shortcut buttons: one to ask what to eat today, one to log the next meal.

Food and blood results in the same app

What makes this usable with actual patients is the blood test screen. Each measured value appears with its reference range and a status of high, low or normal, along with a trend chart of that value over time, split into a kidney panel and a diabetes panel, with the date of the most recent test always shown. When blood results sit on the same screen as the food diary, explaining why a particular nutrient has to be restricted comes with evidence behind it, rather than being an instruction out of nowhere.
